Edmonton Sales Assistant

The Sales Assistant plays an important role in creating exceptional customer experience and supporting the success of the sales team. Working alongside the Sales Consultant, this role helps engage prospective buyers, supports customers throughout their home-buying journey, and ensures the show home and community consistently represent the Daytona Homes brand at its best.

This is also a development-focused sales role. Sales Assistants will receive ongoing mentorship, coaching and hands-on training designed to build their skills in overall sales process.

What you’ll learn:

This role provides the opportunity to learn about the new home sales business from the ground up through:

·        Ongoing sales coaching and mentorship with Daytona's Sales Development Coach

·        Hands-on training in customer discovery, qualification and relationship building

·        Exposure to the complete new-home sales process

·        Coaching on lead follow-up, CRM management and converting opportunities

·        Community, product and competitive market knowledge

·        Regular role-play, feedback and skill development

Key Responsibilities:

·        Welcome and engage prospective customers and help create an exceptional first impression

·        Support the Sales Consultant in identifying customer needs, generating opportunities and securing lot holds

·        Assist with customer follow-up and help ensure questions and concerns are addressed throughout the homebuying journey

·        Develop strong knowledge of Daytona homes, communities, available inventory, policies, processes and construction timelines

·        Maintain accurate and complete customer information within the CRM

·        Participate in ongoing sales training, coaching, role-play and weekly sales meetings

·        Develop a strong understanding of your community, surrounding amenities, competitors and market activity

·        Help ensure the showhome consistently represents the Daytona brand at a high standard

·        Walk available inventory regularly with the Sales Consultant to identify presentation, safety or maintenance concerns

·        Ensure showhome materials, pricing, signage and customer-facing information are current and accurate

·        Support community marketing and social media initiatives while following Daytona brand standards

·        Familiar with social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn

Previous sales or customer service experience is an asset, but attitude, initiative and willingness to learn are equally important.

Show Home Hours:

·        Monday to Thursday: 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

·        Weekends and holidays: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
